Scott – You started off from a young ages working with Nickelodeon, How was it all for you starting off?
Mandy – Amazing, & something new for me. I was a 12 year old regular girl with a passion for being on stage and was thrown under the wing of people who paved the way for artists like me, such as Mariah Carey, Quincy Jones, and so many others. Being a part of the Nickelodeon family was a blessing.
Scott – How did you get involved with singing and performing?
Mandy – I auditioned for a show Nick Cannon was casting when I was 12, and out of over 3,000 kids, I was the one picked for the series. I’ve been singing since I can remember.
Scott – Your new song “Riot” has been a hit! What’s the story behind the song?
Mandy – I wrote the song getting out of a really bad relationship, where I felt suffocated and trapped the whole time & when I got out of it I just wanted to start a riot, have fun and live life, instead I wrote the song.
Scott – Where can we see you performing this summer? (American Dates)
Mandy – Right now, I’m focused on music and recording but any shows I have will be posted to my social platforms so stay posted there!
Scott -Are you recording a album as we speak? If yes, whats your sound going to be?
Mandy – I’m currently in the studio. The next sound will be pop/R&B.
Scott – Have you got plans to be visiting UK ?
Mandy -I wish! At this moment, all my shows are US based, but I plan to go to the UK eventually, yes!
